Beauty: Inside and Out

In today’s society, there seems to be a misconception of what real beauty is. Supposedly, you have to be a certain shape, certain hair type or skin color or have an “ideal” weight in order to be considered beautiful.
Here is what I say to society: you are wrong. You are wrong on many levels. I believe that everyone is beautiful. If you are a man, a woman, pear shaped, apple shaped, hourglass shaped, black, white, middle eastern, straight hair, curly hair…you are all beautiful! To me, I find you all beautiful. Everyone is different. That is a given, but that is a great thing. You should not look like anyone else but yourself.
I do not care what society says about how I should change myself. I actually embrace my curls, and my ethnic backgrounds. I’m proud to be who I am and what I look like.
And if someone says that you are not beautiful, then they are wrong. Be proud of what you look like. Be proud to be unique and stand out from the crowd.
