Cooking is a form of Healing

Most people do not realize that cooking is a form healing. You can get creative. You create new recipes and make something your own.
A lot of people have a love-hate relationship with food, and to be honest, you shouldn’t have that type of relationship with food.
My parents taught me how to cook at a very early age, and they taught me how to create a healthy relationship with food. There was a time where I did have a love-hate relationship, but then I learned how to create foods that I thought were somewhat healthy yet packed full of flavor.
Food for me, is a place where I can create something that is whimsical and also down to earth. I love incorporating my mediterranean and middle eastern ethnicities in my meals. When it comes to desserts, I love having something that leans towards vegetarian and sweet.
I want to see everyone form a love relationship with food. Cooking is a great therapeutic way of healing.
