It’s undeniable. As adults we are constantly on the go. Work, kids, friends, hobbies, workout, traveling. It’s a never ending thing. Yes, we can take time to make some me time with the hobbies. But when we are only running on six to seven hours of sleep, or less, then we are going to drag our butts around. So when it comes to our days off or the weekends, we want to catch up on some relaxation. We try to get comfortable on the porch or even on the couch. Then out of nowhere, it’s a little while later and you awaken.
Adults need naps too. It’s not just kids who needs it. Adults need it as much as they do. Even if it is a thirty minute power nap or even an hour and a half, a nap does wonders.
I’m not going to lie. I love being outdoors and enjoy the nature around me, I love to read and paint, but I need naps every now and then. If I get comfortable on the couch or bed, then I will take a nap. My naps tend to last about an hour and a half. Not only that, somehow my naps tend to fall on Saturdays. Not every Saturday, but a good portion of them.
Naps help everyone be more productive and also helps with the digestive system. On top of that, it helps with the brain system work smoother and more effective.
