Nourishing Your Body

image

Everyone can last for years as a vegetarian or vegan, and I give them kudos for that. But unlike them, I need to have seafood and poultry in my own food pyramid. It is the source of protein that keeps me from being sick. It is what fuels me, and let’s me be able to heal myself naturally.

I’ve always believed that food is what heals you holistically. Believing that one must have a healthy relationship with food, instead a hate relationship with food. There are so many people around the world who suffer from eating disorders. And there are many people, especially in third world countries, who do not have food at all. My hopes are for those who have eating disorders to find a healthy relationship with food. My hopes for those in third world countries is to find nutritious food. If one does not have a healthy relationship with food, things will deteriorate rather quickly. It is best to establish a healthy nourishing lifestyle that you can follow. You don’t have to follow all of these fad diets. Make it healthy and indulgent, that’s what I do. I enjoy a hearty breakfast (pictured above) and a slice of sweet cheesecake. Partaking in this, I have created a healthy relationship with food. I know what nourishes my body, what I’m allergic to, and what’s bad for my body. You just need to listen to your body. Listen to what your body is saying to you.
