Beautiful and Unique (Poem)

Change your hair,
Change your clothes.
How dare you say what we must do?
Change your shape,
Change your size.
Can’t you see we are all beautiful on the inside as well on the outside?
Thin or thick,
Curly or straight,
All of us are meant to be born a specific way.
You have no say when it comes to our bodies,
You have no opinion over who is beautiful or ugly.
Shut your mouth and just listen,
All of us are beautiful and you’re just afraid.
Afraid of the men and women who are proud of themselves,
So you seek out to destroy.
Stop playing with our minds,
Stop poisoning our bodies.
Step back and take a look,
We all are designed to be beautiful and unique.
