Green Tin Roof (Poem)

The sound of the rain hits the green tin roof,
Just as the moon light breaks in through the curtains.
Your silhouette dances in the moon light,
As I watch you move gracefully throughout the cabin.
Every inch of my hair on my skin is raised,
As I watch you dance to the music that plays.
You turn to face me,
A smile on your face is placed,
You move closer to me,
Extending your hands.
Here we are,
Dancing to music in the pale moon light,
Laying low away from the world outside.
