Wild (Poem)

Curly hair that flows so freely,
as the sun dances upon her skin
kissing it ever so gently
as her soul and heart fly with the wind.

Her heart and soul jump on the waves of the wind
letting it take her where she is needed at that moment in time,
for she is no mere mortal
for she is a daughter of the wind,
daughter of the earth,
daughter of the sea,
she is meant to be wild
not grounded to the pavement with her two feet.

Worn to the Bone (Poem)

I’m worn to the bone,
suffocated by the silence
that you left me in
as I stood in the middle of our home.

Just a stab of lies radiated from your mouth,
with you sitting there with a stoic face,
as tears fill my eyes
and glass broken all over the place.

I’m worn to the bone,
with my heart tearing
all I can do is be grateful that you no longer grace this place,
the place we once called home,
and can finally begin to heal
while I still feel worn out.

Language of the Heart (Poem)

I speak the language that only you know,
while the rest of the world tries to decipher,
for it is our hearts that speak the same language.
The words speak the truth of my intentions,
they show that I want to sleep with you forever,
travel the world with you by my side,
and die in your arms.

From this day forward
I make you this promise,
that no matter how far we are apart,
I will send you moonlight kisses
till you are in my arms again.

Anima Nascosta (Poem)

L’anima che si cela dietro i suoi occhi
non può comunicare le sue emozioni vere che sono nascoste all’interno,
essendo così la sua enabler di isolamento da me.
Come vorrei poter raggiungere interno,
desidero conoscerlo meglio,
desidero penetrare quelle pareti,
mostrargli ciò che l amore è davvero come,
e smembrare queste menzogne che ha detto di lui ciò che l’amore era davvero.

Emerald Eyes (Poem)

Walking into the café
I approach the counter,
to only be greeted by your deep emerald eyes,
making my heart flutter.

Shooting you a smile,
you smile back,
then take my order,
finally leaving me at the counter,
as you begin to fill the mug even higher.

Reaching for the mug
our eyes meet,
with the hustling and bustling stopping,
giving us a moment to breathe,
while being stuck in the silence.

Sundress (Poem)

In the sunlight you dance,
with your sundress flowing with you,
deflecting the rays from hitting my face.

Sitting here I can soak this all up,
the scent of fresh grass swirls around,
the sun dances upon our skin,
with your sundress pressed up against you,
enjoying the beauty around us.
Your eyes are closed,
arms wide open as you dance,
twirling in the spring afternoon,
while you wear your favorite dress.

My sweet love,
I love it when you are happy,
it is when you wear that dress,
and the sun soaks deep into your skin.
